Processing Speed Trends
CPC Bengaluru has been steadily ramping up processing throughput since January. The 6.97 lakh single-day figure is the highest we've seen outside the July-September filing surge. This suggests the department is making a concerted push to clear the remaining unprocessed returns from the July-October filing window.
Refund Status
Refund issuance has kept pace with processing. Approximately 68% of processed returns that are eligible for refunds have been credited within 30 days of e-verification. The median refund time for returns filed and verified before December 2025 is now 18 days.
